Effective June 29, 2026
1. Our commitment
Snow Maids LLC is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We believe that everyone looking for cleaning services in South Denver or Castle Rock should be able to browse our pages, understand our pricing, and request a quote — whether they use a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control, a mobile device, or an AI assistant acting on their behalf.
2. Conformance target
We design and build snowmaids.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and to align with the U.S. Department of Justice ADA guidance for web accessibility. New pages, components, and content are reviewed against these standards before they go live, and the site as a whole is reviewed quarterly and on every major release.
3. Measures we have taken
Some of the specific steps we've taken to meet our accessibility target on this site:
- Semantic HTML. Pages use real HTML headings (h1 → h2 → h3), landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer), and lists, so assistive technologies can understand the structure. - Alt text. Informative images have descriptive alternative text; decorative
images use empty
alt=""so screen readers don't announce them. - Keyboard operability. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, menus) can be reached and operated with the keyboard. Focus is always visible.
- Color contrast. Body text, links, and UI components meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios on both light and dark surfaces; brand colors that don't meet the ratio (for example, the mint accent) are reserved for decoration on dark panels only.
- Labeled forms. Every form field has a visible label and programmatically associated help text or validation message. We don't rely on placeholder text as the only label.
- Readable typography and 200% reflow. Body text starts at 16px with fluid clamp-based scaling, line lengths are capped for readability, and layouts reflow cleanly at 200% browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- No keyboard traps and no auto-rotating content. Modals, menus, and overlays can always be dismissed; we do not auto-rotate the hero or other content blocks.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences. When your operating system signals prefers-reduced-motion: reduce, smooth-scroll and scroll-reveal animations are bypassed.
- Skip-to-content link. A "Skip to main content" link is the first interactive element on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Captioned video. Where the site embeds video, we provide or require captions or transcripts.
4. Bots, AI assistants, and answer engines
Increasingly, people reach businesses through AI assistants and answer engines rather than by visiting a website directly. We engineer this site so those tools can understand and act on what we offer just as easily as a human can:
- Server-rendered HTML. Every page is delivered as static, fully rendered HTML — no JavaScript is required to read the content.
-
llms.txtandllms-full.txtat the site root. These machine-readable files summarize what's on the site for large-language-model crawlers, so AI assistants can answer questions about Snow Maids accurately and link back to the right page. - WebMCP-annotated forms. Our lead and contact forms are instrumented so AI agents can complete them on a customer's behalf with proper consent, in line with the CI Web Group Hydra OS platform.
- Structured data. Rich JSON-LD schema describes our business, services, service areas, reviews, FAQs, and locations.
5. Known limitations and third-party content
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. Where third-party tools are embedded — for example, an external booking widget, a social-media embed, a Google Map, or a payment processor — we rely on the vendor's accessibility work and may not be able to fix every issue inside their iframe. We work with vendors to address known issues and provide accessible alternatives where we can (for example, a phone number alongside a map). PDFs older than June 29, 2026 may not be fully tagged for screen readers; please contact us if you need an accessible version of any document.
6. Feedback and how to report a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on snowmaids.com — a page that's hard to read, a form you can't submit, a control you can't reach with the keyboard, or anything else that gets in the way — please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
- Email: office@snowmaids.com [CONFIRM: a dedicated accessibility@snowmaids.com alias would be ideal; drafted against office@ pending.]
- Phone: (720) 303-5383
- Mail: Snow Maids LLC, Castle Rock, Colorado
When you report a barrier, please tell us (a) the page URL, (b) what you were trying to do, (c) what went wrong, and (d) the device, browser, and assistive technology you were using if you're comfortable sharing that. We aim to respond within five (5) business days and to work with you toward a resolution.
7. Technical specifications
Accessibility on snowmaids.com relies on the following technologies working in combination with your browser and any assistive technology you use:
- HTML5
- CSS
- JavaScript (only for enhancement — the site works without it)
- WAI-ARIA attributes where native HTML semantics are not sufficient
- Schema.org / JSON-LD structured data
8. Assessment and review
We assess accessibility through a combination of automated tooling (axe, Lighthouse) on every major release, manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on new templates, and ongoing color-contrast verification when the brand palette changes. Snow Maids reviews this Statement and the underlying conformance work at least once per quarter, and on every major release of the site.
